Cows.ie is an Irish based company with over 30 years’ experience specialising in providing a full solution for the supply of high-quality livestock to customers in both Ireland and the UK, across mainland Europe and many other countries throughout the globe.

Due to our continued growth within the dairy sector and further expansion of our team, we are now looking to recruit agents to operate within southern Ireland along with a full time Livestock Sales Representative to join our team. This position is ideally suited to candidates with sales experience and a good knowledge of livestock in the Dairy Industry.

The Candidate

• Must have a background in dairy farming with keen interest in livestock.
• A full knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards is required.
• Needs to demonstrate an aptitude and desire to sell and gain market share.
• Key competencies include Interpersonal skills, drive, teamwork, organisational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Needs to have a Full Clean drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with both our existing and new customer base.
• Being proactive in achieving individual and team sales targets.
• Develop mutually beneficial working relationships with both customer & Supplier.
• The Sourcing & Supply of quality livestock to meet our customers’ requirements.
• Negotiation and management of deals with both buyers & Sellers.
• Providing support to extended sales team as directed.
