We recently purchased a 6mtr JOSKIN Scariflex grass tine harrow to improve our grazing platform. It also reduces the use of chemical fertiliser used on our farm. Harrowing removes dead grass and lifts vegetation up and levels dung paths. Its also allows air movement and root aeration which helps the soil to breathe and improves the up take of nutrients . It reduces disease by exposing fungi and bacteria to sunlight which is essential for the health of good grassland.
